​DROP-OFF & DELIVERY

• The client is responsible for the safe drop-off of their bouquet to our Inglewood studio, unless alternative arrangements have been confirmed in writing by The Dainty Co.

• If the client chooses to use a third-party delivery service (such as Uber), The Dainty Co. is not liable for any loss, damage, or delay that occurs during transit.

• Bouquets will be preserved in the condition they arrive in. For best results, we recommend drop-off within 2-3 days of your event.

CONDITION & WORKABILITY OF FLOWERS

• If a bouquet arrives in a condition deemed unworkable by The Dainty Co. (e.g. excessive wilting, mould, rot, disintegration), the order will be cancelled and refunded.

• If this occurs the client will have 48 hours to collect the flowers before they are respectfully discarded.

• We do not take responsibility for damage caused by previous storage, heat exposure, poor handling, or treatments (such as paint, glue, sprays, pins or floristry wire).

• Flowers may change in tone, strength or workability once dismantled.

DESIGN & ARTISTIC PROCESS

• Floral selection is at the discretion of our designers based on bloom condition, thickness, size, and the overall balance of the chosen layout and frame.

• Not all blooms may be suitable for pressing or inclusion due to their size, structure, or condition.

• Once the florals are pressed and reconstructed, the client will receive a digital design proof for approval. This mockup is created on white mat board and reflects the intended final composition.

• While we take care to honour the approved design as closely as possible, slight variations may occur during the final glueing process due to bloom fragility, spacing needs or structural adjustments.

• No non-floral items (e.g. pendants, charms, ribbons, cards) will be included in the final artwork and may be discarded if delivered with the bouquet.

• All designs are created with artistic freedom, balance and structural integrity in mind. Final layouts may vary slightly to achieve the best overall result.

• Once the client approves the digital design proof, all layout decisions are considered final. Further changes may incur additional fees or may not be possible depending on the production stage.

NATURAL OUTCOMES & LIMITATIONS

• All florals are preserved using natural, chemical-free methods.

• Over time, subtle changes in colour and texture are expected.

  Please note:

  • Bright tones may soften or deepen

  • Whites may warm to cream or light brown

  • Florals may show natural speckling, spotting, or textural changes

  • No two frames will ever be identical

• These natural shifts are part of the preservation process and are not considered faults.

TIME FRAMES & CHANGES

• Once the blooms enter the preservation process, they cannot be returned unless incorporated into the final artwork.

• After final design and glueing, changes to layout, frame size, colour, or material cannot be made.

• Turnaround times vary with workload and seasonality. Estimates are guides only. The delicate nature of our work means delays may occasionally occur.

PAYMENT TERMS

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking and begin the preservation process.

• The remaining balance is due once the digital design is approved and must be paid before the piece moves into the final framing stage.

• Orders must be paid in full prior to collection or delivery.

COLLECTION & STORAGE

• The client will be notified when the piece is ready.

• Collection must occur within 14 days, unless an extension is arranged in writing.

PHOTOGRAPHY & PROMOTIONAL USE

• The client agrees that The Dainty Co. may photograph or film their completed artwork for use in marketing, portfolio, website, and social media.

FRAME AVAILABILITY

• Frames may occasionally vary due to supplier availability. If this occurs, The Dainty Co. will offer the client a comparable alternative of equal or higher quality.
