The Dainty Co is my dream come to life, a space where fleeting moments are lovingly preserved.
What began as a quiet love for flowers has blossomed into something I never imagined – a space dedicated to preserving the memories that matter most.
Hi, I’m Krissy – celebrant, flower obsessive, sentimental soul, and founder of The Dainty Co. I’m also a big fan of wine, gin, KFC, my wonderful friends, my boyfriend, and my two sweet (and slightly spoiled) pups, Winston and Nora.
Fresh blooms have always been a part of my world - whether I’m gifting them, arranging them at home, or (let’s be honest) swooning when someone surprises me with them. But as much as I adore flowers, I’ve always found it a little heartbreaking how quickly they fade. Throwing them away just never sat right with me.
That gentle grief over wilting blooms led me to pressing - a way to capture the beauty of each petal and preserve the moments tied to them. As a celebrant, I’ve had countless chats with couples who were gutted that their wedding flowers were left to wither in the days after their celebration – especially with the whirlwind of honeymoon adventures and new chapters.
And so, The Dainty Co. bloomed. A heartfelt blend of my love for all things weddings and my passion for preserving beauty and sentiment through flowers.
It’s a privilege to now turn your bouquets, buttonholes, and blooms into keepsakes that honour your story and brighten your space for years to come.

Jacinta
Studio Assistant
As The Dainty Co’s very first hire, Jacinta has been here since the beginning - our original petal wrangler and all-round calming presence in the studio. With two tiny humans as her daily alarm clocks and an oat milk flat white (made by her husband, of course) in hand, she brings organisation, care, and just the right amount of caffeine to every part of the process.
A lover of Bohemian Rhapsody, ranunculus blooms (because they're just fun to say), and finding her flow during the pressing process, Jacinta brings a quiet rhythm and warmth to the studio. She’s also secretly learning Japanese - purely because she felt like it - and yes, she’s only slightly terrified of breaking her Duolingo streak.
While pineapple on pizza is, in her Italian opinion, an unforgivable crime, she will allow it to exist… just at a respectful distance.
To sum up Jacinta, well, she’s the kind of person who makes everything run smoother, brighter, and more beautiful – one perfectly pressed petal at a time.
Tarni
Studio Assistant
Tarni is the second gem to join The Dainty Co. team - our resident ray of sunshine with a soft spot for Cadbury chocolate and reality TV (MAFS or 90 Day Fiancé, anyone?). A qualified florist with a love for whimsical wildflower bouquets, she brings calm confidence and a sharp creative eye to every part of the process.
She’s also our go-to white colour correcting queen - with a natural talent for correcting petals to be white once again, shes making sure every petal looks its absolute best before it finds its forever frame.
When she’s not in the studio, Tarni’s world revolves around her husband Sam and their beautiful little girl, Olive - who keeps her on her toes and her heart full. And when she does find a quiet moment to herself, you’ll probably find her belting out Good News by Mac Miller or happily defending her stance that pineapple on pizza absolutely belongs.
To sum up Tarni? She’s the kind of person who brings light, laughter, and a little magic to everything – one perfectly colour-matched petal at a time.
