Hi, I’m Krissy - founder of The Dainty Co.
Sentimental by nature, celebrant by trade, and forever in awe of how flowers can hold so much more than beauty.

In 2023, The Dainty Co. began as most good things do - gently, quietly, and with a deep love for meaning.

I’d spent years standing beside couples as they said their vows. I watched the way they held their bouquets. How tightly. How tenderly. And then… I’d see those same flowers forgotten. Left on chairs. Wilting in vases. A detail that once held so much... gone by morning.

I couldn’t shake the thought: “What if those flowers didn’t have to fade?”

So I began pressing them. First for friends. Then couples I had married.
And The Dainty Co was born.

Since 2023, we have preserved over 260 bouquets for couples across WA, each handcrafted in our studio.

From pressing petals in the spare room of my home,
to a shared studio in Maylands,
to opening the very first official Dainty Co. headquarters in Mount Hawthorn,
our journey has bloomed quietly, beautifully, and faster than expected.

We soon outgrew our Mount Hawthorn space, and now call Inglewood home.
A calm, light-filled studio where stories are pressed, framed, and held with care.

Today, I’m no longer doing it alone. The Dainty Co. has grown into a small, skilled team who share my love for sentiment and obsession with detail. Together, we press, design and frame every piece with the kind of care you’d give your own memories.

    The hands behind your pressed bouquet and the heart behind The Dainty Co.

    Krissy has always been drawn to the moments that matter. As a marriage celebrant, she spent years standing beside couples during some of the most emotional minutes of their lives.

    Krissy now leads a small, skilled team who care as deeply as she does, gently guiding each flower from its moment to its forever.

    She’s known for her calm presence, sharp eye for layout, and belief that even the smallest stories deserve to be preserved. You’ll often find her barefoot in the studio, rearranging petals, packaging keepsakes, or scribbling a thank you note - because handwritten words matter just as much as pressed ones.

    Jacinta

    STUDIO ASSISTANT

    Joining The Dainty Co in 2024 as our very first hire, Jacinta has played a quiet but pivotal role in shaping the studio from the inside out.

    Her steady hands and eye for detail guide much of our pressing process – from preparing and preserving blooms to ensuring every petal is placed with intention.

    Calm, precise, and endlessly dependable, Jacinta brings structure and flow to the studio – keeping everything running seamlessly and beautifully, from press to frame.

    Tarni

    STUDIO ASSISTANT

    In early 2025, Tarni became the second gem to join The Dainty Co – the creative soul behind our colour work, bringing balance, tone, and quiet artistry to every frame.

    A qualified florist with an intuitive eye for detail, she ensures each petal looks its best before it’s framed – restoring whites and preserving every bloom with care.


    Thoughtful, confident and endlessly creative, Tarni brings light and warmth to the studio – adding her touch of magic, one colour-perfect petal at a time
