Terms & Conditions

We’re so honoured you’ve chosen The Dainty Co. to preserve your special blooms.

Before we begin, please take a moment to review the following terms and conditions to ensure a smooth and transparent process.

DROP-OFF & DELIVERY

  • The client is responsible for the safe drop-off of their bouquet to our Mount Hawthorn studio, unless alternative arrangements have been confirmed in writing by The Dainty Co.

  • If you choose to use a third-party delivery service (such as a courier or Uber), The Dainty Co. is not liable for any loss, damage, or delay that occurs during transit.

  • Bouquets will be preserved in the condition they arrive in. We recommend same-day or next-morning delivery for the best results

CONDITION & WORKABILITY OF FLOWERS

  • If your bouquet arrives in a condition deemed unworkable by The Dainty Co. (e.g. excessive wilting, mould, or disintegration), your order will be cancelled and refunded.

  • If this occurs and the bouquet was couriered or dropped off, you will have 48 hours to collect the flowers before they are respectfully discarded.

  • We do not take responsibility for damage caused by previous storage, poor handling, environmental exposure, or treatments (such as paint, tint, or floristry sprays).

  • Wire, glue, pins or adhesives used by your florist may impact the workability of certain flowers.

DESIGN & ARTISTIC PROCESS

  • Floral selection is at the discretion of our designers based on bloom condition, thickness, size, and the overall balance of your chosen layout and frame.

  • Not all blooms may be suitable for pressing or inclusion due to their size, structure, or condition.

  • Once your florals are pressed and reconstructed, a digital design proof will be sent to you for approval. This mockup is created on white mat board and represents a near-final composition.

  • Please note that while we take care to reflect the approved design as closely as possible, slight shifts will naturally occur during the final gluing process onto glass. Some blooms may also need to be adjusted or substituted due to fragility at that stage.

  • No non-floral items (e.g. pendants, charms, ribbons, cards) will be included in the final artwork and may be discarded if delivered with your bouquet.

  • All designs are created with artistic freedom and balance in mind. While we do our best to accommodate layout preferences, the final arrangement may vary to achieve the best visual and structural result.

NATURAL OUTCOMES & LIMITATIONS

  • All florals are preserved using natural methods. Over time, colours may fade or change slightly due to light exposure, age, or natural pigment breakdown.

  • Some variation in colour, texture, and overall bloom appearance is expected – no two frames will ever be identical.

  • Flowers often dry with changes in tone or depth; bright colours may mute and whites may cream or brown slightly in the process.

TIME FRAMES & CHANGES

  • Once your blooms enter the preservation process, they cannot be returned unless incorporated into the final artwork.

  • After final design and glueing, changes to layout, frame size, colour, or material cannot be made.

  • Turnaround times vary based on demand and seasonality. While we strive to meet our estimated timelines, delays may occasionally occur due to the delicate nature of our work. We appreciate your patience.

PAYMENT & COLLECTION

  • Orders must be paid in full before collection or delivery of your finished artwork.

  • We will notify you once your frame is ready and arrange a suitable time for pick-up or delivery.

PHOTOGRAPHY & PROMOTIONAL USE

  • The client agrees that The Dainty Co. may photograph their completed artwork for use in marketing, social media, and promotional materials.
