FAQs

  • Some blooms (like lilies, chrysanthemums, irises, lisianthus, banksias and seed pods) don’t press well due to their structure or water content. We’ll always do our best to honour sentimental pieces, but only include flowers that maintain the quality and elegance we’re known for.

  • Keep your flowers in water throughout the day (especially during the reception). After your event, trim the stems and place them in fresh water, out of direct sunlight. The fresher they are on arrival, the better your result.

  • Most clients include their bouquet and buttonholes (if they’ve survived!). We also love working with florals from ceremony arbours or table arrangements - they’re often less handled and in perfect condition for pressing.

  • Our studio is in Mount Hawthorn. Most couples drop off their flowers the Monday after the event.

Weekend drop-offs to Krissy’s home can be arranged, and a trusted friend or family member is welcome to deliver them if you’re away.

  • Once your date is reserved, you’ll receive a short questionnaire so we can learn more about your bouquet, preferences, and any special requests. From there, we’ll guide you through the rest of the process.

  • Absolutely. You’ll receive a digital mock-up once your flowers are pressed and reconstructed. You can provide feedback and we’ll go back and forth until you're 100% happy with the final design.

  • Of course - visit our Instagram or ‘Pressed Vault’ Inspo page to explore a variety of real client frames and floral styles.

  • Photos? Yes – we just need the high-resolution one and we will have them professionally printed.
Ribbons may also be included depending on material and weight.
Heavier keepsakes unfortunately usually don’t fit inbetween the glass.

  • Yes. From farewells to anniversaries to just-because blooms, we preserve flowers tied to any moment worth remembering.

  • We carefully select the best blooms to create your design. Some may be unsuitable (due to damage or structure), so we prioritise what presses beautifully to ensure the final piece is polished and cohesive.

  • We’ll use the best blooms available and may supplement with similar florals from our studio collection (with your approval) to create a seamless design.

  • Yes. We offer a curated selection of sizes and finishes, but if you have a custom vision, we’d love to hear about it and will do our best to accommodate.

  • If we have capacity and the florals are still in good condition, we’ll do everything we can to help. Get in touch as soon as possible.

  • Most pieces are ready within 4–8 months, depending on season and demand. We’ll always prioritise care over speed – every piece is crafted slowly and intentionally.

  • With proper care, your keepsake will last for many years. We use UV-protective glass and archival materials, but like all natural elements, soft fading over time is expected.

  • Natural fading will always occur. To prolong their beauty, avoid placing your frame in direct sunlight, high heat, or humidity. Hallways and bedrooms are ideal.

  • We offer local delivery within Perth for a small fee. Due to the delicate nature of our frames, we don’t currently ship by post – it’s just not worth the risk.

  • Yes - and they make a beautifully thoughtful gift. Digital gift cards are available via our website and can be used toward any frame or preservation package.

  • We specialise in pressed floral art and do not offer whole-flower or resin preservation. This focus allows us to remain dedicated to our craft and style.

  • We use as many of your blooms as possible. Occasionally, any unused flowers in excellent condition may be repurposed for studio samples or creative projects.

  • Yes - if you’ve booked a ‘Buy Now, Choose Later’ package or want to change frame size when we are designing, we’ll invoice the difference before your final collection.

  • You’ll hear from us at key moments - including when your flowers are preserved, during the design phase, and once your frame is ready.
We like to keep things simple but personal.

  • We offer Afterpay for convenient, interest-free instalments. Gift cards are also available for part-payment or surprise gifting.
